SusHi Tech Tokyo: Where AI Meets Reality

The future won’t wait; it’s here in Tokyo.

Every major tech conference has themes, but SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026 is doing something different. The event focuses on four tightly defined technology domains: AI beyond the hype, physical robots that aren’t just props, resilient cities facing real threats, and an entertainment sector where manga meets AI.

TechCrunch is partnering with SusHi Tech as an official media partner, selecting one standout semifinalist from the SusHi Tech Challenge to advance to TechCrunch Disrupt Startup Battlefield 200. Expect sessions featuring Howard Wright (Nvidia), Rob Chu (AWS), and Eric Benhamou (Benhamou Global Ventures).

Don’t miss out on the action in Tokyo, whether you’re there or watching from afar via remote participation. The event runs April 27–29 at Tokyo Big Sight, with business days on April 27–28 and a free public day on April 29.

A special meeting of city leaders from around the world will discuss climate resilience and disaster preparedness as part of G-NETS. The summit is open to general audiences via live stream on YouTube.
