Meta's business AI tools have seen significant growth, facilitating around 10 million conversations per week as of late March. This marks a tenfold increase from the start of the year and comes on the heels of an expansion in the beta program across multiple regions.
The company is also ramping up its creative AI tools, which are being used by over eight million advertisers, particularly among small and medium-sized businesses. These tools have shown to improve performance, with video generation features seeing a conversion rate increase of more than 3% in tests.
Meta’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, hinted at potential future monetisation as the company aims for scale while keeping its business AI free for most small enterprises. However, he noted that they may introduce a longer-term monetisation model as progress is made.
The expansion of these tools into Meta's suite of products, powered by Muse Spark, the first large language model from Meta Superintelligence Labs, signals a significant shift in how businesses can leverage AI for their operations. Meanwhile, the company reported strong financial results, with revenue up 33% year-on-year and profits increasing to $26.8 billion.
