AI-powered marketing platform Nectar Social has raised a impressive $30 million Series A round led by Menlo Ventures and its Anthology Fund. The company, which officially left stealth mode last year, is developing an agentic operating system for marketers to manage social activity, moderation, creator workflows, competitive intelligence and commerce conversations end-to-end.
Nectar Social was founded by sisters Misbah and Farah Uraizee, former Meta employees. CEO Misbah told TechCrunch that this round will help the company expand and hire more across applied AI, engineering, and go to market. She said: “The buying conversation has moved into social, and no human team can staff every place it happens.”
The funding will allow Nectar Social to build out its operating system further, aiming to be the category leader in helping brands show up everywhere on social media. The company claims clients include Liquid Death, Figma, and e.l.f Beauty.
Other investors in the round include Gwyneth Paltrow’s Kinship Ventures, GV, and True Ventures. With data partnerships with companies like Meta and Reddit, Nectar Social is well-positioned to streamline social media management for brands worldwide.
