Meanwhile, researchers and investors are worried about the safety of rapidly advancing AI models.

However, there is still hope for open models. Black Forest Labs, a German startup, has announced plans to release a new multimodal AI model that can power robots. This could indicate a shift towards more practical applications of AI video generation technology, addressing the potential physical impact of these advancements.
