Netflix has quietly hiked its prices once again, with the most affordable ad-supported tier now costing $8.99 per month, up from $7.99.
The standard plan without ads is now $19.99 a month, a $2 increase from $17.99, while the premium plan has also gone up by $2 to $26.99 per month.
It’s getting more expensive to add extra viewers outside of your household too; to add a user to an ad-supported plan now costs $6.99 instead of $7.99, and for an ad-free plan, it costs $9.99 as opposed to $8.99.
The company claims the changes are designed to reflect improvements to its “wide range of entertainment” and the quality of its service. Netflix last raised prices in January 2025, and since then, the company has updated its platform with a series of new additions, including video podcasts and more livestreaming content.
