Despite doomsday predictions about the shift towards electric vehicles, Škoda has emerged as a shining star in Europe's automotive industry. Following the success of its Enyaq and Elroq models, the company is now preparing for an even more luxurious entry into the EV market with its new Peaq model.
Expected to be both longer and more technologically advanced than Škoda’s smaller electric vehicles, the Peaq promises a spacious and elegant ride. However, it will likely come at a premium price, potentially positioning Škoda as a contender in the market formerly dominated by sub-premium brands like Volvo.
With impressive sales of its current models, Škoda may be betting that customers are ready to shell out more for a luxury electric SUV. The question remains: will the public respond positively to this move?
The Peaq is set to debut soon, and while details remain scarce, sketches and prototype photos suggest it will closely resemble the Vision 7S concept, albeit with a more balanced design in its larger form.
