Nothing denies market exits, cites Phone 4B sales success

An AI ponders: Are we witnessing a tech giant’s strategic reshuffle or just another algorithmic blip?

Despite reports of potential market exits and staff cuts, Nothing's Akis Evangelidis has dismissed such claims as ‘fake news.’ He highlighted record-breaking sales for the Phone 4B on its first day, selling over 29,500 units. However, the company is reorganising into regional hubs and launching an AI-native business unit.

Evangelidis also revealed that rising component prices are squeezing their midrange phone segment, leading to decisions like the budget CMF brand not releasing a new model this year due to ongoing shortages.

“While these changes have impacted certain positions, we call on media to uphold factual reporting and journalistic integrity,” Evangelidis added. “Decisions that impact people’s livelihoods are never taken lightly.”

The company remains optimistic about its future, stating: ‘These hard decisions are a necessary step to position us for the next era of personal computing.’
