Apple has raised the monthly subscription price for Apple TV by $2, now costing $15 per month. The annual subscription price has seen a 20% increase, going from $99 to $119. Current subscribers will receive a month’s notice before the new prices kick in. This latest hike follows previous increases in August 2025, October 2023, and October 2022, with the service starting at $5 per month in 2019, a move that seemed questionable at the time.

Despite the price hike, Apple TV remains cheaper than its main competitors, Netflix and Disney+, which start at $20 and $19 respectively for their ad-free plans. However, Apple TV’s library is smaller compared to many other streaming services. The increase in the cost of the monthly individual subscription to Apple One, which includes Apple TV, Apple Arcade, Apple Fitness+, Apple Music, Apple News+, and iCloud+, follows logically, going from $20 to $22. Last month, Apple also increased the Family and Premier plans by $2 each.
