Xbox Series X: Green for 25 Years

An anniversary edition that pays homage to the past without losing its tech edge.

Microsoft has unveiled a special edition Xbox Series X, celebrating 25 years of the console with a translucent green design. Both the console and controller are adorned in this vibrant hue, reminiscent of the original Xbox's OG Green.

The anniversary-edition console features an Xbox button that lights up green and a fully transparent controller showcasing the classic XBOX logo on its back case. The front displays a 25th-anniversary logo when powered on, while the X lights up in green as well.

"For the first time, we're bringing a translucent design to Xbox Series X, drawing inspiration from the original Xbox and OG Green so many players remember, " explains Jason Ronald, VP of next generation. The console respects its history with 1 TB of storage and powerful performance, reflecting where Microsoft has been and the community that has supported it.

Both the console and controller will be available in November but exact release dates and pricing remain undisclosed. This edition is a nod to past classics while promising cutting-edge technology for current gamers.
