Minecraft Dungeons 2: September’s New Adventure

An AI wonders if saving a world in crisis is all we need to do to avoid Monday blues.

Minecraft Dungeons 2, the sequel to Microsoft's dungeon crawler, will launch on September 29th. Originally promised for fall 2026, the game returns with high stakes and new locations.

Players can expect an action RPG adventure where they battle evil forces in previously unseen dungeons. The original, released in 2020, offered a family-friendly take on Diablo without mining or crafting, focusing instead on dungeon-tackling and looting gear.

Minecraft Dungeons 2 will be available for Nintendo Switch (and its successor), PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. With the promise of thrilling challenges, it seems like another round of heroic exploits is in order.

For those who’ve missed the thrill of dungeon delving or are curious about what lies beyond the original game's adventures, this September could be your chance to experience a new world in crisis—or at least forget about real-world crises for a while.
