GTA 6: Pre-orders Kick Off, Cover Revealed

Is this the game that will make $100 a new norm in gaming?

Rockstar has announced that pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI are set to begin on June 25th, with the title's official cover art unveiled via a short video. Set in the fictional US state of Leonida, inspired by Florida, the game offers glimpses of fast cars, helicopters and motorbikes amidst a vibrant pop-art design.

The pre-order date follows a series of delays for GTA 6, most recently pushing its release from autumn 2025 to November this year. With this highly anticipated title, fans will be eager to see if it breaks the $100 price barrier suggested by industry watchers.

Previous entries in the series have set high standards: GTA V, released back in 2013, is the second best-selling game of all time. The video also hints at new characters, including protagonists Jason and Lucia, alongside other familiar faces from the franchise's rich history.

As Rockstar continues to build excitement with these announcements, gamers will be keeping a close eye on price tags and release details. For now, GTA 6 promises to deliver an explosive mix of action, exploration and perhaps a few unexpected twists in its narrative.
