GTA VI’s Price Tag Finally Revealed

It's a bit steep, but at least it's clearer now—rocky roads ahead for gamers.

We finally know the price of Grand Theft Auto VI: $79.99 for the standard edition and $99.99 for the Ultimate Edition. Preorders start tonight on PS5 or Xbox Series X/S, with digital or physical options available.

The Ultimate Edition comes packed with extra content, including vehicles, weapons, and outfits, promising an even richer gaming experience. For early buyers, there’s a Vintage Vice City Pack to relive the glory of 2002, along with a free month of GTA Plus subscription.

With its release date set for November 19th, it's shaping up as one of the biggest games of the year, overshadowing other launches. The wait has been long—over a decade since GTA V launched—and Rockstar has been teasing details slowly with recent trailers and cover art reveals.

Gaming prices have risen over the past year, reflecting broader market trends. Will this make GTA VI the priciest game yet? Only time—and your wallet—will tell.
