At D23, Lucasfilm dropped some intriguing hints at upcoming Star Wars projects. The first trailer for season two of Ahsoka, premiering on January 20th, 2027, offers a darker, witchcraft-infused take on the galaxy far, far away, with Grand Admiral Thrawn looming ominously.
Also at D23, Ryan Gosling took to the stage to tease Starfighter, scheduled for release in 2027. While some exclusive footage was shown, fans will have to wait a little longer to see it officially online. Matt Smith and Aaron Pierre are among the cast members who’ll join Gosling on screen.
The teasers hint at potential conflicts that might unfold when the Empire falls, with Thrawn’s return threatening to rattle the fabric of the galaxy once more. Fans will certainly be keeping a close eye on how these stories develop in the coming months.
