After partnering with 8BitDo, Genki has unveiled the Manta—a gamepad packed with innovative features. Positioned above a large 2.9-inch LCD screen, its thumbsticks and buttons can be finely tuned to individual preferences, offering unparalleled customizability.

The controller is launching on Kickstarter today, allowing early backers to pre-order at £146 ($189) before retail prices hit £205 ($279). With a focus on adaptability, the Manta supports multiple profiles and allows users to adjust thumbstick response, haptic feedback intensity, button remapping, and more.

Technologically advanced features include tristage triggers for precise control, analog face buttons with adjustable sensitivity, linear magnetic ram motors providing haptic feedback, and drift-resistant tunneling magnetoresistance (TMR) thumbsticks. The Manta also has a 2,600mAh user-replaceable battery and additional remappable buttons on the back and shoulders.
