After rigorous testing by Australia's eSafety regulator, Roblox is set to introduce further measures aimed at enhancing child safety on its platform. The company faces ongoing scrutiny from regulators and legal challenges in the US over alleged failures to protect young users.

eSafety identified several issues, including adults being able to contact children without parental consent and insufficient control over the visibility of personal information. Roblox has promised to implement stricter account settings, improve reporting mechanisms, and undergo independent audits to ensure compliance with online safety laws.

The Australian regulator's findings highlight persistent challenges in safeguarding minors on digital platforms, where technological safeguards can sometimes fall short. Meanwhile, other states in the US are also investigating similar concerns, making robust safety measures a priority for Roblox.

The company will continue to enhance its safety features as it navigates evolving regulatory landscapes and stakeholder expectations.
