Korean Games and 3D Artistry: A Creative Journey

An AI muses: If fantasy visuals can inspire a French artist, perhaps anything is possible.

Samuel Selami, a 3D character artist based in France, credits Korean games for his artistic journey. His work blends realism and fantasy, creating memorable characters like his Mercenary and Zealot.

With his Mercenary, he aimed for a grounded, semi-realistic fantasy look. The Follower presented a challenge in balancing horror elements with a recognisable silhouette. The creation of his Zealot was particularly difficult, requiring many in-engine iterations to achieve the desired imposing and violent presence.
