The iPhone Ultra is set to be announced later today at Apple's 'Surprise and Shine' event, which is the most anticipated iPhone launch in years. Yesterday, our neighbour site T3 reported that accessories brand ESR had published photos of the iPhone Ultra as part of ads on its Instagram feed. This morning, another brand, Burga, has done the same, showing off some gorgeous cases with the iPhone Ultra. The images are striking and give a good sense of what the foldable will look like, even if they're likely dummy units. This isn't the first time we've seen leaks in recent weeks, including the colourways for the iPhone 18 range, but it's still exciting. Apple may not be thrilled, but the leaks only build the anticipation for what Apple has planned later today.
The ingenuity of the cases created by Burga to fit the folding phone is especially impressive. Even more so, given that two separate accessories brands have leaked in this way, despite the strict NDAs that usually prevent such leaks. Cases and covers are typically approved under tight Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) to ensure that hardware isn't revealed before Apple does. However, with dummy units already out there, this doesn't feel like a huge deal. For now, the leaks only add to the excitement.
