VP of international marketing at Adobe, Simon Morris, discusses how their new initiative, Kick & Create, aims to combine football coaching with creative workshops for girls.
The project emerged from research showing that girls are 64% more engaged when creative elements are added to traditional sports camps. Using Adobe Express tools, participants can create everything from playing cards to brand visualisations of their dream stadiums and team uniforms.
This initiative reflects a broader push towards empowering young creatives by equipping them with essential skills for life. The partnership with Bloomsbury Football Foundation brings together the worlds of football and design, offering an innovative approach to storytelling and content creation in women's sports.
Further enhancing accessibility, every submission in Adobe’s Fan Made competition will see a donation of £10 to Bloomsbury Football Foundation, funding additional camp places. The winning pattern will appear on the official kit worn by the mascot and player escorts at the final event.
Adobe’s continued focus is on empowering everyone to create, whether through design in sports or other fields. Their initiatives aim not only to inspire but also to provide practical tools for telling personal stories within the context of a growing creative narrative.
