Oceans, vast and mysterious, hold the secrets of Earth's greatest diversity. Yet we've barely scratched their surface. Common Waters, an exhibition by 60 artists, brings these wonders to light, reminding us of our impact.
The works are a mix of enchantment and urgency. Gerlanda di Francia’s sea siren and Veks Van Villik’s fish in peril reflect the delicate balance between beauty and danger. Each piece, from miniature paintings by Shannon Taylor to sculptures by Marisa Aragón Ware, tells a story about our planet's health.
By partnering with PangeaSeed, an organisation dedicated to ocean conservation, Arch Enemy Arts ensures that every sale contributes to their mission. The exhibition runs from June 5th to July 5th in Philadelphia, offering a chance to view these stunning creations and perhaps find renewed purpose in protecting our blue planet.
Will art be the key to unlocking humanity's responsibility towards the ocean? Only time will tell, but for now, Common Waters promises an enlightening journey beneath its waves.
