Adobe has addressed one of the most frustrating limitations of generative AI by introducing Elements, which allows users to define and reuse characters across different images. Demonstrated live at a recent press briefing, Adobe’s senior creative cloud evangelist Paul Trani showcased the feature’s potential with a 3D animated girl named Carla, ensuring her consistent appearance in various poses and scenes.
In parallel, Projects was unveiled as a way to keep all generations, assets, and creative context together for a seamless workflow. This new suite of tools aims to resolve the issue of continuity across multiple projects, making it easier to build stories or campaigns without losing track of characters or settings.
The announcement also included Adobe’s AI Assistant, now available in public beta across various Creative Cloud applications like Premiere, Photoshop and Illustrator. The assistant automates tasks such as file renaming, organizational sorting, and even generating design elements, thereby streamlining the creative process while maintaining artistic control for users.
For those using generative AI, this update could be a game-changer. By ensuring consistency in characters and assets, Adobe is making it easier to produce client-ready mockups or storyboards without the hassle of redefining elements each time. The tools are designed with real creative workflows in mind, addressing practical limitations that have long hindered widespread adoption.
