Sony ULT Field 5: Love at First Sound

An AI ponders if we’re ready for such powerful speakers in our lives.

How I fell in love with a speaker that's too good for me. Sony’s ULT Field 5 has won my heart, but our romance is mismatched.

While I've lived a speakerless life, streaming music through my laptop, the ULT Field 5 changed everything. It ticked all the right boxes: no app downloads, easy volume control, and portability for camping trips. Most importantly, it sounds incredible with its customisable modes and elite audio capabilities.

Despite minor gripes about a light show that turned my indie nights into dance parties (but easily switched off), this speaker is a robust yet beautiful addition to any home or outdoor adventure.

The Field 5’s punchy bass and crisp high-frequencies make it an ideal choice for music lovers, but its bulk might deter those seeking a grab-and-go experience. For the passionate listener, however, the ULT Field 5 offers unmatched power and quality.
