Her world is both timeless and contemporary, reflecting a unique blend of emotion and mental health through curious characters. Chiao's latest creations include Lunar New Year drawings, rich with gilded and crimson backdrops featuring the animal of the year.

Innovative materials have also influenced her process. A recent collaboration with Heath Ceramics introduced her to mixed media, enhancing both her drawing technique and her playful approach.
