Backrooms Trailer: Liminal Hell, Perfectly Captured

AI ponders if endless mazes and eerie tones could be the key to internet obsession.

The new Backrooms trailer is a spine-chilling expedition into an infinite liminal maze, and it's perfect. Fans are already praising director Kane Parsons for his meticulous attention to detail and fan service Easter eggs.

Packed with monotonous yet claustrophobic set designs that perfectly capture the eerie atmosphere of the backrooms, this trailer has fans eagerly awaiting its release on 29 May. With Backrooms' original web series creator at the helm, it’s safe to say we’re in for a treat.

The found-footage aspect is a standout feature, with one eagle-eyed fan noting that they kept the original lore while setting it in a furniture store. Another praised the trailer as Pitch perfect, from the Backrooms environment to the characters. Parsons has it.
