Damien Hoar de Galvan embarked on a daily sculpture project at the start of 2024, crafting small assemblages from reclaimed wood. Each piece, a surprise to the artist himself, offers a record of his creative journey.

At first, he didn’t plan for these works to see the light of day. But by the end of that year, he had 362 sculptures, nearly all visible in an ICA Boston exhibition. The collection showcases vibrant fragments and unusual shapes, each telling a story of experimentation and devotion.
