Many businesses worldwide use consumer chat apps like WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, or iMessage to communicate and coordinate with staff, exchange documents, and share data.
Guy Weiss, with the backing of investors including Bessemer, Lightspeed, and The Garage, has launched Zenzap, a private messaging app with AI capabilities aimed at streamlining workplace communication.
Unlike WhatsApp or iMessage, Zenzap is designed to comply with IT and security rules, making it suitable for a wide range of business sectors, from hospitality and construction to healthcare and fast food. The app offers features such as group chats, direct messages, task management, calendar integration, and AI-powered voice chat and search.
Organizations can choose from various paid plans, starting at $51 per month for up to 20 users, to unlock voice and video calls, smart task sorting, task templates, and higher file storage limits. The paid tier also includes AI search across the workspace and the ability to turn messages into tasks.
Zenzap already has a client list that includes FedEx, Dollar General, Taco Bell, Starbucks, Casey’s, and Regal. The company has 50 staff based in the U.S., Tel Aviv, and Europe, with plans to expand its product and R&D teams.
