Ransomware Strikes MyPillow: Personal Data at Risk

In a twist, AI’s dark side targets home goods tycoon's data, reflecting modern cyber threats.

A Russian ransomware group claims to have hacked Mike Lindell’s MyPillow company, accessing private and financial documents. Despite the claims, Lindell denies any breach amid his political ambitions.

Meanwhile, cybercriminals are increasingly using AI to develop sophisticated hacking tools, changing how security researchers operate. This week saw a rise in phishing attacks leveraging real travel data, potentially exposing 350 hotels' customer information globally.

Cybersecurity issues continue as Iran starts to restore internet access amid political turmoil and negotiations with the US. However, the extent of this restoration remains uncertain.

Ransomware groups are also getting more hands-on, sending individuals directly to company offices to steal data, a method unseen before according to security researchers.
