The Apple Watch Series 11 is a smartwatch worth upgrading to. It's the best smartwatch for iPhone owners, and the base price is reasonable at $299 (for the 42-millimeter case size without GPS). Right now, it’s back to that low price, making it an ideal time to make the upgrade if you’ve been hunting for a new Apple Watch.
Note that this sale price applies only to the non-GPS version. If you want cellular connectivity or the larger 46-millimeter case, expect to pay more. But across all retailer options, nearly every color-and-size combination is discounted. Available finishes include Gold, Natural, and Slate titanium options, as well as Rose Gold, Silver, Space Gray, and Jet Black if you opt for aluminum.
The Apple Watch Series 11 finally boasts a battery that can last at least a full day—24 hours in actuality, allowing you to wear it while exercising or sleeping. This feature enables better use of its myriad tracking capabilities. As the owner of an Apple Watch Series 8, I often consider upgrading for this alone.
Aside from typical fitness stats and workout tracking, plus the AI-enabled Workout Buddy feature, this watch can monitor signs of hypertension and track blood oxygen levels. It also has Fall Detection and satellite messaging capabilities (on models with cellular connectivity).
While new tech is neat, it's not always worth upgrading for. But last year's Apple Watch introduces meaningful changes that you'll notice in your day-to-day life. If you're still rocking an older model, or you're shopping for your first smartwatch, this is absolutely worth considering—especially at this sale price.
