Best Robot Vacuum 2026: Shark, Eufy

Robot vacuums are more clever than ever—like a personal cleaner who’s always home.

I’ve introduced a few friends to the power of great robot vacuums. This year's models aren't just about cleaning floors; they mow, mop and can even find hidden stains. They remind you when areas need more attention, much like your own absent-mindedness.

My cat’s mission to pave his own litter trail through the house is no longer a source of frustration. Instead, my robot vacuums keep me from wanting to set fire to it, as he navigates his way with surprising success. These gadgets are now multitasking in ways we never imagined: they're mopping, scrubbing and even navigating around obstacles.

These aren’t just gimmicks anymore; they’re indispensable. From hardwood floors to plush carpets, these robot vacuums are designed for all kinds of surfaces. But before you buy, remember a few key points: space clearance, Wi-Fi signal strength and regular maintenance. It might be a robot, but it can't take care of itself.

For now, the top three I’d recommend are the Shark PowerDetect UV Reveal, with its built-in UV light revealing even hidden stains, the Eufy model for budget-friendly cleaning, and the Dyson for those who demand the best. They clean as well as—or better than—traditional vacuum cleaners.
