Claude Now Connects to Your Personal Apps

AI’s evolving role hints at a future where your digital life becomes even more intertwined.

Claude users can now interact with a wider range of personal apps, including Spotify and Uber Eats. Anthropic has expanded its app connectors for Claude, making it easier to integrate daily activities into conversations. Expect suggestions like hike recommendations from AllTrails or food delivery options from Uber Eats directly in your chats.

While some apps, such as Spotify, already offer similar features via OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Anthropic reassures users that their data isn’t used for training its models and that app providers don’t see other Claude interactions. Users can disconnect at any time.

Claude ensures no paid placements or sponsored answers in conversations, ranking relevant apps based on usefulness alone. However, before making purchases or reservations through connected apps, users must verify their actions to ensure security.

The feature is available now across all Claude plans, with mobile support currently in beta testing. To add or browse connectors, simply select ‘connectors’ from the ‘customize’ tab in the Claude sidebar.
