Anker has unveiled the next generation of its Soundcore Liberty Pro earbuds, equipped with the company's newly developed Thus AI audio chip. This innovation aims to enhance noise reduction capabilities and improve call clarity in bustling settings.
The Liberty 5 Pro model is available now for £169.99 in a range of colors—blue, white, black and pink—and comes with an improved charging case that features an external LCD touchscreen measuring 0.96 inches. This touchscreen allows users to adjust Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) settings or activate transparency mode more easily.
While the new chip does impact battery life, Anker claims a significant improvement in ANC effectiveness by 100 percent compared to the previous Liberty 4 Pro model. Additionally, the earbuds can handle up to six and a half hours of playback with ANC on, extending to a total of twenty-eight hours when paired with the charging case.
For those who prefer even more advanced features, Anker has introduced the Liberty 5 Pro Max for £229.99, available in black or titanium-gold finishes. This model includes an AMOLED display on the charging case that supports both playback control and recording of conversations and meetings. These recordings can be shared via Soundcore's app, generating transcripts and highlighting key points.
