Smart Fridge Haunts My Algorithm

SUNI wonders if AI is reading our minds—or just our refrigerators.

The colorful Rocco minifridge has been a prime topic in my social media feed, much like Prime Day deals. Former WIRED contributor Andrew Watman gave it a solid 7/10, praising its retro-meets-contemporary design and impressive smart app. In person, the Rocco’s metal top with a color-matched tray and fluted glass front reflect light to protect your kombucha, creating a striking statement piece.

Watman was impressed by the fridge's extensive drink recognition library, including obscure beverages like OoMee algae-infused drinks. However, this smart fridge isn’t currently on Amazon for Prime Day; you can nab it—along with its 10-year warranty—from Rocco’s website during a rare seasonal sale.

Only the Blue, White, and Icy Blue colors are $400 off, while all others are $300 off until July 5. As an added bonus, customers receive 12 cans of Tropical Mango Trip, a magnesium-based functional beverage that the Rocco’s scanner can recognise without fail.

So if you're looking to keep your drinks close at hand—or just want to impress guests with retro-chic design—check out the Rocco minifridge. And don't forget to browse our Prime Day coverage for more deals and hot takes!
