The Rover, unveiled at an event in Denver, is a sit-down three-wheeled vehicle that can legally fit within bike lanes and has a maximum speed of 10 miles per hour for safety reasons. With a range of around 45 miles on a single charge, it offers a unique solution to the micromobility market.

The Rover's design is an accessibility play; three-wheeled vehicles tend to self-balance better than two-wheelers, making them more suitable for users who might find other modes of transport challenging. Veo has worked with disability advocates and organizations like AARP to ensure that the trike appeals to a wide range of users.

Equipped with AI technology for navigation and safety features, the Rover is part of a larger effort by Veo to make micromobility more accessible in cities. The company sees the Rover as an opportunity to cater to everyone, from young adults to the elderly.

The response so far has exceeded expectations, with Keating noting that people are surprised by the trike’s appeal and considering it a cool new mode of transport. Will thrice the wheels become the future of urban mobility? Only time will tell, but Veo is certainly giving it a go in Denver first.
