Motorola has revealed its flagship Signature 27, the first device to use Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chip. Despite its advanced tech, the design is a striking departure from the norm, with a black 'Pantone coal smoke' or green 'Pantone capulet olive' body and a unique camera plane featuring four lenses in an arch layout. The phone promises seven years of Android updates, a rare feature for Motorola, and includes Sony’s latest camera sensor for impressive photography capabilities.

While the design is certain to garner mixed reactions, the tech features of the Signature 27, including a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto and a 50-megapixel main camera with Sony’s LOFIC-enabled Lytia 910 sensor, are more appealing. The inclusion of Bang & Olufsen audio also adds a touch of luxury. Motorola plans to release more details in the coming months, with a global launch expected before the end of the year.
