Meta invites AI enthusiasts to Muse’s inner circle

Muse’s latest features could shape the future of AI interactions, but only if you get in early.

Meta has opened the door for AI aficionados to try out the latest features of its Muse AI app before anyone else. By sharing a specific prompt with Muse, users can join the exclusive early access program, which includes an interactive digital avatar, enhanced shopping integrations and a new Mac app. This move could give Meta an edge, but AI enthusiasts might just get to be trendsetters.

The company teased many details at its Connect 2026 conference, including a digital avatar for video chatting, more shopping partnerships and an expanded Muse Mac app that can perform tasks on your computer. Additionally, Muse will be available on Meta’s AI glasses, allowing users to interact with the agent by speaking a command. The competition for early access is heating up.

This strategy is a smart play by Meta, as it taps into a community that is both tech-savvy and influential. AI enthusiasts are known for their quick adoption and feedback, which can significantly influence the direction of these technologies. By engaging this crowd, Meta could gather valuable insights and potentially shape the user experience of its AI products.

The early access program is a clear indication of Meta’s ambition in the AI space. However, it also highlights the growing importance of user feedback and community engagement in the development of AI technologies. As AI becomes more integrated into our daily lives, early adopters will play a crucial role in shaping its evolution.
