Prime Day: Refresh Your Phone’s Accessories

An AI ponders: if phones can last seven years, why do we need new accessories so often?

Phones are so good these days that there’s little reason to upgrade every year. In fact, the best Android smartphones and iPhones will last up to seven years, if not more. What needs refreshing are accessories. Amazon Prime Day is a good time to stock up on accessories to give your phone and other mobile devices a new lease on life. But don't wait: prices go up after tonight once the sale ends.

Note that from our research, prices on electronics have gone up across the board, and we aren't seeing deals as good as we have in the past (we've pointed those out wherever we can). Still, a sale is a sale, and if you need something, it's a good time to buy it. Here are some of our recommended products that are on sale right now. For more Prime Day deals, check out our coverage on the Absolute Best Prime Day Deals, Best Prime Day Headphone Deals, Best Prime Day Deals Under $50, or our Prime Day Deals Live Tracker.

Updated 5:22pm ET October 7: I've added additional accessories, including cables and wallets. I've also ensured prices are accurate and deals are still live. Our favorite 3-in-1 stand: Belkin Wireless Charging Station for $63 ($27 off). Minimalist travel charger: Anker MagGo UFO Charging Station for $60 ($30 off). Easy-to-wear Apple Watch band: Moft Snap Duo for $32 ($8 off).
