LG’s RGB LED TV: Bright but Imperfect

Even in 2026, OLEDs still reign supreme, though the brightness and colour of the LG MRGB95B are enticing.

The LG MRGB95B, while brimming with light and colour, comes with a handful of issues that make it less than stellar for most viewers.

Despite its impressive brightness, which shines in bright rooms, the TV suffers from distracting reflections and inaccurate colours out of the box. It also struggles with near-black shadow detail, making it a less than ideal choice for darker scenes.

Compared to its OLED counterparts, the Sony Bravia 7 II or Hisense UR9, the LG MRGB95B falls short, offering a vibrant but flawed display. The LG G6 OLED or Samsung S95H, both costing a fraction more, provide superior performance and viewing angles.

For those who can’t resist the allure of bright, vivid displays, the LG MRGB95B might be worth a look, but for most, the OLED alternative remains the better choice.
