Power and durability are paramount when testing an electric scooter. As a hefty rider who demands robust performance, the VMax New VX4 has easily won my approval with its impressive top speed of 37.3 miles per hour, exceptional hill handling, and its beefy full-suspension chassis.
This latest upgrade from VMax includes a higher top speed, suspension improvements, and an enhanced stem-locking system. While the older VX4 model is still available, for those seeking the ultimate in electric scooter performance, the New VX4 offers undeniable appeal.
Setting up the New VX4 couldn’t be easier. The box includes everything needed to assemble it within minutes: handlebars, screws, a hex wrench, and charging cables. I was out riding in less than five minutes after unboxing it, but reaching maximum speed required some additional time due to its robust design.
For anyone who’s used to the roar of a 1200cc Harley Davidson Sportster, as this reviewer is, an electric scooter can be hard to impress. Yet, after weeks of exhilarating rides, VMax’s new offering has captured my attention with its speed and durability.
The release of the New VX4 in late 2025 marked a significant upgrade from the older model. The name change from VX4 to 'New VX4' might seem inconsequential, but it reflects a clear evolution in performance and user experience that VMax is aiming for.
