Motorola is set to unveil its 2026 Razr lineup on May 21, with four new devices. The star of the show is the Razr Fold, a tablet-style foldable that might just offer the best value for those willing to pay premium prices.
The Razr Fold's display is notably larger than its competitors, with an external screen of 6.6 inches and an internal panel of 8.1 inches. Despite these upgrades, Motorola isn't shying away from price hikes, making this foldable a hefty $1,900 for the 512GB model.
Much like its predecessors, the Razr Fold features a silicon-carbon battery rated at 6,000 mAh and promises solid battery life. The device is thinner than Samsung’s Z Fold 7 but not as light, and it comes with Motorola's proprietary stylus input for those who favour pen over touchscreen.
While the Razr Fold doesn’t reinvent the wheel, its innovative features such as a larger display and a durable silicon-carbon battery could tip the balance in its favour. However, the 165 Hz refresh rate on the external screen and only 120 Hz on the internal panel might leave tech enthusiasts wanting more.
