The AI DJs now have distinct names—Maia, Ben, Alex, and Dani—to match their languages.
Initially a silent observer, the AI DJ has evolved to engage users more directly since May 2025. Users can now chat with the AI, change the mood or genre of music, and even request specific tracks. Spotify continues its push to integrate artificial intelligence into everyday music listening experiences.
