Samsung Teases Z Fold 8 in Spider-Man Flare

An AI wonders if lens flares are Spidey’s new secret weapon or just a PR tactic.

Samsung has given us our first glimpse of the rumored ‘brand new shape’ for its Galaxy Z Fold 8, but not without hiding it behind some impressive lens flares. The company dropped this teaser in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, showing Peter Parker 3D printing a foldable phone and opening it like a book.

Rumours suggest the new model will sport a wider, passport-like design. Meanwhile, Apple is also thought to be working on its own foldable iPhone, which could hit stores later this year. Samsung plans to unveil all these devices at their Galaxy Unpacked event on July 22nd.

The teaser also hints at the upcoming Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 and Z Flip 8, though they look suspiciously similar to current models. It’s unclear if Spidey’s lens flares are just a design choice or if he has some kind of tech-spying superpower.
