Skullcandy has unveiled an exciting new iteration of its Crusher headphones. The Crusher 1080 ANC now integrates Bose’s cutting-edge audio technology, promising improved bass clarity and reduced distortion.
The new model features a redesigned driver with a stiffer diaphragm for enhanced sound clarity at higher volumes. Additionally, it incorporates Bose’s TrueSpatial audio technology, ensuring balanced sound even during head movement, and the WaveForm engine to keep audio full and smooth.
Notably, these headphones are the first from Skullcandy to offer industry-leading noise cancellation with Bose’s six-microphone QuietControl ANC tech. This feature adapts based on ambient sounds, making them ideal for noisy environments. They also boast SpeechClarity, which ensures clear calls despite background noise.
Users can expect up to 60 hours of battery life without ANC and 50 with it enabled, with a quick four-hour charge from just ten minutes. The Crusher 1080 ANC supports Bluetooth 5.3, offering low latency audio and multipoint pairing for seamless device switching.
The headphones are available in black, candy, primer, and cement colours, making them both stylish and versatile. With these enhancements, Skullcandy’s Crusher line is set to compete fiercely with premium earwear.
