The annual D23 event showcased new announcements for the MCU, Star Wars and other beloved franchises. Marvel revealed a teaser for the upcoming X-Men film and teased VisionQuest on Disney+. For Star Wars fans, season two of Ahsoka was previewed with a darker take on the universe. Meanwhile, the beloved Bluey series will get a 3D makeover, probably followed by a soulless live-action remake.
Square Enix also joined in, teasing the next installment of Kingdom Hearts and hinting at a release for the Switch 2, PS5, Xbox and PC, though no date was given.
