A London clinic, run by a former ice-cream entrepreneur, is treating stage 4 cancer using a bizarre method that involves naked people in plastic bags and chlorine dioxide gas. Alastair Jessel, the clinic owner, admits it's dangerous but claims incredible results.
The typical protocol sees patients ingest drops of chlorine dioxide solution daily, with Jessel administering a rare and untested 'Protocol G'. This involves sealing people naked from the neck down in plastic bags while exposing them to undiluted gas. Jessel says he may be the first in the UK to try this.
Cancer Research UK warns that there is no scientific evidence for chlorine dioxide as a cancer treatment, and using unproven remedies can have dangerous side effects. Despite Jessel's claims, Caroline Geraghty states it’s important to speak with medical professionals before trying alternative therapies.
Jessel has a long history of dubious practices, registering the Battersea Park Clinic in December 2021 after initial treatments using scalar waves and red-light therapy. His interest in chlorine dioxide emerged in 2024 when he called himself 'the UK’s Mr. Chlorine Dioxide', citing unproven cancer causes like stress.
The clinic faced a raid by the Food Standards Agency and Trading Standards in December 2024, but Jessel remains undeterred, continuing to explore alternative treatments based on his extensive video-watching expertise.
