Jon Prosser has fired back at Apple, denying any involvement in the alleged theft of iOS secrets. He admitted to seeing unreleased features during a FaceTime call but claims Ramacciotti is 'completely responsible.' The case continues with Prosser requesting a jury trial.
In his response, Prosser denied joint planning and knowledge of Ramacciotti's financial situation. He admitted recording the FaceTime conversation and sharing revenue with Ramacciotti in exchange for exclusive communication.
The legal battle began last July when Apple accused Prosser and Ramacciotti of breaking into an iPhone to steal trade secrets, then profiting from them through videos on Prosser’s YouTube channel. Both men are now facing scrutiny over alleged breaches of confidentiality and the handling of unreleased iOS 19 features.
Prosser also argued that Apple’s claims about Ramacciotti's use of location tracking to access Lipnik’s phone were unfounded. His defense suggests he was unaware of how the information came into possession, focusing blame squarely on his co-defendant instead.
