Named after the elusive DOGE, these teams will work closely with city agencies to create user-centric software, focusing on practical problems like subscription cancellations. Lisa Gelobter, a US Digital Service veteran, heads the effort, bringing Silicon Valley expertise to a more democratic cause.

The projects aim to address issues such as housing and education, providing tools for citizens to combat corporate bullying. The first project, click-to-cancel, demonstrates Mamdani’s commitment to making tech work for people rather than corporations.
